In The Beginning

In The Beginning

Beverly is a passionate minister of the gospel whose life reveals the transforming power of Jesus Christ.  Raised in a dysfunctional home, she carried deep wounds that opened demonic doors and pulled her into the same destructive patterns she witnessed growing up.  Alcohol became her god, and the brokenness of her past shaped every part of her life.

It was in this season of deep pain that Tom entered her story.  He carried the heart of a true father and his steady, faithful love became a strong tower for her — a kind of safety she had never known.  But even with all the strength and tenderness he offered, his love alone could not break through the deep generational curses she carried.  Only Jesus could do that.  Still, Tom’s presence marked the beginning of the breaking.  Through him, Beverly experienced a glimpse of the Father’s heart — a love that softened the ground for the freedom she desperately needed.

Her desperation for freedom eventually drove her into the arms of Jesus.  After years of trying to break free on her own, she received a miraculous deliverance that convinced her God is real and that freedom is tangible.  From that moment on, she pursued wholeness with everything in her, seeking healing through counseling, Sozo ministry, and various deliverance sessions.  Yet she still couldn’t find peace about the deliverances she was part of, because they didn’t reflect the way Jesus modeled it.  Determined to understand true biblical deliverance, she enrolled in Bob Larson’s School of Exorcism, where she received her first major deliverance — confirming her calling to set captives free.

In 2014, during a mission trip to England, Beverly received a prophetic word that she and Tom would one day pastor a church.  She held that word quietly until April 2018, when the Lord said, “It’s time.”

Their beginnings were humble: from church to home gatherings, then into a rent‑free building that leaked and smelled of mold but was filled with God’s presence.  As the church grew, God moved them into a tiny room that held no more than twenty people and eventually into a beautiful building that reflected the calling spoken years before.

Though Beverly began ministering to addicts, her heart now burns for all people to encounter the living, tangible God she knows so intimately.  Anointed to preach the gospel with boldness and compassion, she carries a passion to deliver those bound by the same chains she once knew. Tom’s fatherly leadership expresses itself in simple but powerful ways — especially through his ministry of love and his hugs.  He embraces everyone who walks through the door, offering the safety, warmth and acceptance of a true spiritual father.  Together, Tom and Beverly — along with a faithful team — continue to walk out the Kingdom mandate: heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead and cast out demons. Freely they have received; freely they give.
